Life is a fantastic motivator. True experiences inspire every story that I write. It’s what I like to call realistic fiction. Some of the circumstances are from my life other times from people I know or have heard about.
The women in my stories face injustices that have been part of the female experience for centuries. My characters tackle stereotypes and misconceptions while proving that women’s rights and women’s ability to control their own destiny are inextricably intertwined.
I believe that power lies in choice. The easiest way to strip women of their power is to take away their choices. So, I don’t advocate for particular choices, instead I argue that every woman has the right to make those choices for herself. On this website you’ll find my thoughts about many issues that concern women today—from social norms to human rights.
I believe that we can change the world. You. Me. My mother and your sister. At the very least we owe it to ourselves and the next generation to try.
